Discover the vast realm of Vanaris and meet new people on the same path, as they must leave everything behind to escape their oppressors and find peace.
Matheus Reis (@retromaten) is a solo developer from Brazil who started making games in 2008 with the RPG Maker. Grew up with Final Fantasy Tactics, Tactics Ogre, Suikoden, Legend of Mana; these have become some of the biggest inspirations for Matheus to make games these days. Matheus had the idea for the story while watching a Japanese animated series where the setting presented at the beginning was about people living within the walls of their country, not knowing how they ended up there. Matheus imagined it had to do with a group trying to erase the history of a part of its population to put a cultural war to an end. Combining all those inspirations with a bit of a medieval touch and the history and cultural value of his origin, Matheus created Vanaris Tactics.
